Presenting the TEEZILY VIETNAM TOUR 2015

The Teezily Tour in Vietnam was a complete success!

Do you want to hear about the Teezily team's week in « the land of water »? Keep on reading!

At the beginning of June, Tram, Charles, Enzo and myself, Marta, packed our bags to travel to Vietnam. The aim of the trip was to meet our Vietnamese sellers (which are currently the most powerful community of marketers at Teezily) and meet them during three days of meet ups and events in three main cities, Hanoi, Da Nang and Saigon.

">Yousef Khalidi, creator of Asskickers, one of the most powerful online t-shirt marketing communities, and an exemplary seller for many, should have joined us during this exciting week on the road however due to unforseen circumstances relating to his Visa, he was unable to join the trip. Not only this, he was stuck in Hanoi airport for 2 days waiting for the next flight home!

Despite being somewhat deflated at missing out on Yousef's company, we didn't let this get us down, and our adventure began with a visit to...

Hanoi

Our very first event! This event and the following one would be the most informal. We brought together just under twenty sellers to discuss our newest updates. For us it was highly important to let them know about the tools and projects that we are currently working on before anyone else, and listen to their feedback.

The Zilers in Vietnam's capital gave us a warm welcome from the very start. We challenged them to an evening game of bowling and they showed us the city and took us to try some vietnamese specialities (hot pot, fried frog, yellow pea ice cream...).

Hung Ha finished his University Chemistry studies in order to pursue a full time career in the online t-shirt selling business. During a meal he told us that he has now already launched 300 campaigns with us: "Until now I was largely focused on the US but now I am starting to sell increasingly across Europe with Teezily." We couldn't believe that like him, the majority of sellers that we spoke to had changed their job during the last year after realising the profitability of selling t-shirts compared to other more common jobs. Many were also engineers or computer scientists before becoming Zilers!

Da Nang

Our event in Da Nang was also an intimate group, a mix of some of our key sellers and others who were just getting started. Thank you to everyone for your generosity!

During our stay in Da Nang we tasted the regions typical seafood, and visited neighbouring Hoi An, known for its lamps that light up the entire city. We even had time to visit the beach !

Saigon

In Saigon, Tram, Enzo and I were joined by Charles, our CEO who came from Paris, and Nico , our representative in Vietnam, who joined us for the last days of the trip.

D-Day finally arrived, the day of the big Teezily conference, where among our guest speakers would be Viet Cam, Phuc Thai and Hai Tram. Three of the most successful Teezilers would take to the floor and share their tips and tricks to gain more sales.

All of a sudden, it was time for the big news! It was time to reveal what we had been keeping secret for months : the opening of our co-working space in Saigon, The Teezily Factory, featuring a rest area, Teezily employees and wifi ; the perfect space where Zilers can head to work and relax for free!

The Viet-Zilers were delighted with the personalised mugs and helmets that we had made especially for the event, and we took the opportunity to capture the moment with a huge group photo.

It was amazing to be able to finally put the names to the faces of our users that we have had virtual contact with for months (some have been selling with us from the very beginning). To be able to meet them and share this wonderful experience with them was a great moment for our team.

Thank you to everyone for making this experience in the far away Southeast Asian nation more incredible than we could ever have imagined!
