Meet Tram, Teezily’s piece of Asia
Tram is great at cooking sushi, an astronomy lover and a hardworking type. If you see her doing her siesta anywhere during the lunch break, don't worry, she is charging her batteries to keep on woking hard until the end of the day without losing her smile, as only she can do.
Read some more about Teezily's Vietnamese country manager in the following interview where we include some of the questions you wrote on Facebook.
Xuan Hoang: How long have you been working for Teezily and how long have you been living in France?
Tram: I have been living in France for one year and started working at Teezily in March 2015. I came to France to do my Masters, and stayed here after to work.
TZ: What was before Teezily?
Tram: In Vietnam, I worked in a bank. I was looking for more challenges and new experiences, that’s why I decided to come to France.
TZ: How has your life changed since you have been in France?
Tram: It’s a huge difference between the lives here in France and those in Vietnam. During the first few months, it was quite a culture shock to me. Then I started to enjoy it, the people, the culture, the pace of life… I can eat some kinds of French cheese now :D
Being away from home, I have learnt to cope with unexpected things and become more independent. Living in France has also changed my view about the world, as I have the chance to meet so many interesting people, particularly in Teezily’s international team.
Tuấn Anh Lê: Why did you choose Teezily and why did Teezily choose you? What exactly is your job in Teezily?
Tram: I was attracted by Teezily’s interest in the Vietnamese market. After learning that Vietnamese sellers are among the strongest communities in the t-shirt business, I felt very proud of my people and immediately wanted to contribute to Teezily’s development in Vietnam. I guess that my high motivation was one of the many reasons why Teezily recruited me.
I’m the Country Manager for Vietnam. My job in Teezily mainly focuses on user service, communication and business development. But like other members in Teezily, I can handle several different roles at a time.
TZ: What’s your favorite thing about your country? And about Paris?
Tram: I really miss Vietnamese food. In Vietnam, you can easy find yummy street food in every corner. I also miss the tropical heat. Though I was very excited when seeing snow for the 1st time in my life here, I still prefer the sun, the sea and the breeze all year round.
Paris, on the other hand, is amazing. Sometimes I feel like I’m living in a romantic novel or an Edith Piaf song. It may take a lot of time more for me to get the Paris syndrome.
Marta Ruiz: What's your guilty pleasure? :)
I can spend the whole evening in front of my computer, eating snacks and watch endless videos on Youtube. Quite guilty, isn’t it?
TZ: How do you spend your free time here?
Tram: I like going to visit some of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants with my friends. When I’m alone, I like jogging along the Parisian streets.
Xuan Hoang: How can I invite you for a dinner?
Only after you’ve known me for several months. In Vietnam, we prefer taking things slow :)
