To kickstart the New Year, we have collected the most important upcoming celebrations from the first quarter of the year. They have been put in a calendar as a source of inspiration for your next Teezily campaigns!VALENTINE'S DAY

As all t-shirt marketers should know, your customers do not only buy t-shirts for themselves, a large amount of potential people purchase shirts as presents for their loved ones. That’s why Valentines’ Day is one of the most commercialized celebrations worldwide. Love is in the air, let’s help people spread the love with our unique products.

Another important event within these months is Saint Patrick's Day. Originated in Ireland, it is now celebrated in many countries by people with (and even without) Irish origin, most notably in Great Britain, The United States, Canada and Australia… It is estimated that 80 million people outside of Ireland claimed some Irish descent, which they are very proud of. Our market data also shows that t-shirt sales, especially clover-related items, surged tremendously for Saint Patrick's Day. Time to go green, huh?

The new year is also the time for cultural events. In late January and early February it’s carnival season. The most famous carnival destinations are Venice and Brazil, but a lot of American and European cities also have carnivals. Mardi Gras is a similar celebration in the US, originally held by people with French origin. For Asian countries and Asian people worldwide this year’s Lunar New Year falls on February 8th. It is the biggest festival in China, Vietnam and Korea… and it is also getting more and more attention in countries with people with Asian roots.
