Participating in the Goalden Contest? Here are some tips for the “2016 Mini-Challenge”!

Are you participating in the fabulous Goalden Contest? The competition is really starting to get going and we have just introduced the “mini-challenges”: you will have the chance to win some extra-bonus and reach your 'goalden goals'!
Let’s explore mini-challenge number one: "get the largest number of sales with a campaign whose design contains the year 2016" (written in numbers or letters). Where did we find the inspiration? Simply, the Goalden Contest aims to celebrate new beginnings, good intentions and long-term objectives. We launched the competition in mid-January and the theme '2016' is the focus of the contest. Do you know how many successful campaigns can be launched with a design that mentions the current year?
Here is a simple example: you can easily target the newlyweds of the year 2016 with "2016: The year I marry the most beautiful girl in the world" or "2016 .. just married"
Another example: the “birthday niche”, people that are turning 40, 50 or 18 in 2016 (someone would love to offer his/ her little sister a nice V-neck t-shirt with “2016.. my sweet sixteen”). Indeed, with such a specific niche, setting FB ads will be easier as ever!
And this is the perfect timing for launching a campaign about 2016 Saint Patrick’s day!
By focusing on the most important events of 2016, do not forget that this is the year of the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro (5th-21st of August) and the European Football Championships, to be held in France. As you know, the niche of soccer fans is one of the most passionate: combining it with national pride, you can get many sales!
Moving overseas, it will not be difficult to be target American buyers. The year 2016 is going to be full of emotions: after the primaries of both Republicans and the Democrats, in November the US electors will vote for the new president. Americans love to wear t-shirts to affirm their political and ideological identity. Do you remember the famous 'vote or die' t-shirt?
